What is Return to Player (RTP), It is the term casinos use to describe the percentage of all money wagered that a slot machine or casino game will pay back to players over time.

If the percentage higher will affect the player to win in the long term. For example 100%, the probability of a player winning is equal to that of the casino. If the RTP goes above 100%, it shows that the casino has actually lost money to its customers on that game in the period in question.

For example, if you make a hundred 1 USD bets on a slot or game where the RTP is 95%, you can expect to get back about 95 USD in wins (end result is 5 USD lower). Anything can happen in the short term, so you should only bet with money you are willing to lose.

You should be able to find the return to player for any slot or game offered by the online casino quite easily. Some are easier to find than others, but you can generally find the RTP by checking out the game’s help section or at the various games’ slots.

Is RTP Actually Run?

First, it is important to note that RTP is a theoretical statistical calculation and should not be taken as an example. It does not apply to massive random wins and longer losses for example. The RTP only tells you the average estimate for the game in question. So, if the RTP is 100%, it means that the player has the same chances of winning as the casino. If the RTP is over 100%, it shows that the casino is in fact running at a loss for that game over the given period. So, theoretically, the higher the RTP, the better a slot can pay out. While this isn’t always the case due to a factor called variance, it’s a good rule of thumb to apply, so we recommend that you try to avoid slots with an RTP of less than 96%.

The formula to calculate the RTP for a casino game = the total amount returned to the players divided by the total amount wagered by the players.

The total amount wagered by the players = the sum of each initial bet per round per player for the controlled period for a specific game (usually a calendar month).

Amount returned to the player = the net amount a player has won in a round.

Difference Between RTP Land and Online Casino.

The return to player in online casinos are usually a lot higher if you compare this with land-based casinos. Physical casinos naturally have much more costs, such as location, energy costs, cleaning costs, etc. Rules have been drawn up for the arcades and physical casinos as to what the payout percentage should be. This is not yet the case for online casinos, but hopefully this will be laid down in the new Gambling Act (KOA).

If we look at the payout percentage, we see the following:

• Online casinos, payout percentage above 90%
• Physical Casinos, payout percentage above between 80% and 90%
• Arcades, payout percentage between 70% and 80%

Online casinos therefore have by far the highest payout percentage. Usually the Return to Player of a video slot is around 95% and can even go up to over 99%. Big chance to win only at bandarqq with big bonus.
